Robert was born totally blind due to cataract in both eyes. His mother had visited the local herbalist and witch doctor, then she heard about KDEC. Immediately after this picture was taken Robert was referred to the hospital in Nairobi for cataract surgery. We continue to follow him up and will do so for his enrite life. He is now 3 years old and runs like a normal child of his age. If he had not been brought to us he would have been blind for life.
